BeatBridges is a Belgian non-profit association that develops, teaches, promotes and produces the arts in all their forms: music, photography, dance, graphic design and video, in Belgium and internationally.
It creates and produces work on every medium, organises concerts, festivals, classes, workshops and creative or research residencies, and brings together artists from here and elsewhere.
Rhythm Companion
One of the association’s projects: an app for practising percussion over recorded loops, with rhythms from the Arab world, Anatolia, the Balkans, the Maghreb and beyond. Adjust the tempo, keep your favourite rhythms close and play along in practice mode, with a dark screen and a visible pulse.
Every loop was played and recorded by percussionist Simon Leleux: simonleleux.com
